My revamped Lavender ( I keep changing it ) with frosted (ash) top ( I meant to do that  ) and partial gel ( which I didn't want).

Fairy Dust - aka - Cotton Candy. This has tiny chopped up bits of soap, hence the name and I put in some bigger bits for effect.

Thanks Lyn, I love that smell too. Might change the name of that one as its not selling under that name :( but everyone loves the smell :) .

WOW WOW WOW, think these are my fave from this mornings porn lol

out of curiosity, why do keep changing your lavender? scent, colours?

been reading another thread about using embeds. did you make these fresh few days before or are the bits well cured?

awesome work Relle

Why am I changing - just building a better mouse trap - meaning I'm just tweeking it a little for the look and I added EO and FO to this one instead of just EO and seems to be holding better.
Embeds are left overs from other pours - probably about 4 months or so ago, still soft enought to cut and the chopped up small bits I put in have been chopped up really fine about 5 months ago, I kept it in a plastic bag.

thanks babe

so, do you let the log sit a bit longer than usual before cutting? i read that cutting soap which has cured bits in it is likely to drag the cured bit through the softer new soap when slicing??

I don't gel mine, they go straight in the frig overnight, then I get them out, and sit for a few hours and then unmould and have been cutting after about 3 days, that seems to be the optimum time for mine but sometimes I'm too eager and cut too early.
Haven't had any hassles with the older embeds dragging.

Your lavender is very pretty to me. I love your embeds. I just tryed my first embeds tonite and not holding my breath as to how they turn out.

More beautiful soap from you! Love them both. Embeds are really catching my eye!

Thanks for all the comments everyone, sometimes your ideas in your head work other times not, but yeah they worked sort of.

Your soaps are truly beautiful Relle! My favourite is the lavender!

I've seen a few pics with that style of embeds ... must give it a go sometime!
