My latest sewing project.

I normally do a lot of sewing and knitting in my spare time. Once I started making soap that kind of went to the back burner. I am currently knitting small washclothes to give as gifts with my soaps that I made. I have an afghan started that is going to take quite a while to finish as I keep putting it down to work on other projects.

I have several pair of jeans that no longer fit me so I decided to do something with them and this is what I came up with. I lined it and put a small inside pocket in it as well...not like it really needs anymore pockets there are 4 good sized pockets on the outside...lol! I machine embroildered a butterfly on this one...another one I made I put a flower on it.

Very cute I remember my mom making us purses & backpacks out of our old jeans that we grew out of or she couldn't patch up anymore. None of them were as pretty as yours though.
