I gave my grandad a bunch of instructions and he also watched Keith Brown's 'How to make a mould' vid on youtube. One week later and I've made the most awesomest HP soap in my most awesomest mould :D

Both ends detach and there's an adjuster in the middle. I tend to leave one end off as it's easier to line that way.

I saw that tutorial and want to make my own mold too. You are so lucky to have someone to make it for you! Great job!

Very nice!!

My hubby just made me a bunch exactly the same, but only one end comes off. I have 5 of them, YAY!!

I made molds using instructions from that tutorial too! I love my molds! I actually made resuable liners for them too with quilters mylar sheets. Takes me seconds to line a mold now....swoon! :D

That's a great tutorial and your mold looks perfect!! Perhaps, gd would like to take a few orders!!?? :D

mold looks great! have you used it yet? is it easy to get the soap out? what do you line with. i showed the video to DH and i'm working on getting him to try it. we have a 'date' to go to lowe's this afternoon!

SFB, great moulds, I was lying in bed wondering what do you line them with? Can you help, so I can sleep at night!

With the ends coming off, (just having one end would have worked too) it's so easy to line with waxed paper. After having learned the hard way, I now know to use it shiney side up otherwise it sticks.

I think starting a mould making business would do him the world of good and actually gie him something to do. I'll suggest this to him when he's in a good mood. LOL.

Where do you get your waxed paper I have been looking and looking, Inverness doesn't have any!
