I was able to cut my first Tiger Stripe today. It came out quite a bit better than expected :) Yay! I was so tired when I first started pouring my hands were shaking!

The orange is from Paprika and the 'other color' is from Alkanet. I do wonder if the alkanet will turn out how I want. Time will tell. Patience Grasshopper........patience!

I scented with EOs. Patch & Orange5x with just a touch each of cedarwood and anise.

Those look great!! I know you're probably wanting purple, and that will be cool, but I really like the color they are now. Very good job on the stripe. Was your batter really thin or more medium trace?

Those look wonderful! I want to try a tiger stripe once I get a log mold. So many things to try!! I like how you described the alkanet as "the other color" :)

Thanks, if the color changes like I want then it will be PERFECT for LSU fans ;) As far as trace goes. I started pouring at light trace. I did a small mold that we use for hand soap size. By the time I got to the big mold(soaps pictured) It was just past light and got to medium by the time I had finished. Well, all except for literally a few spoonfulls I put on top at the end.

Thanks Shannon. It does smell great! BUT I am glad that I didn't add any more Anise than I did. Its right at the limit. But even the kids like it. So thats the ultimate in approval because sometimes(most of the time) these kids are TOO honest!! Hahaha!

Wow! They look perfect! I didn't know you could get such a nice orange with paprika! Very nice! :D
