My First Swirl!

Today I was pretty ambitious.
After getting a few simple recipes under my belt, I was determined to try a swirl for the first time! I used three different colors and the Lily Lemon Drop fragrance oil from Brambleberry. My inspiration: pink lemonade!

Overall, I’m super happy with the result!! I blended right until thin trace, and I was able to confidently tell when I had reached emulsion. (First time!! I usually made recipes that were medium/thick trace.)

Here is how it turned out:

I will post an update photo after they gel and I unmold them.
I used:
32% Olive, Palm, and Coconut Oil
4% Castor oil

Here is how they turned out! I’m pretty happy! I’ll need to use my planer on them to clean up the edges but overall I’m happy with how they turned out.

Comes out of the first few cuts! That is a beautiful soap!
