I love making CP soap, but I also like MP. So today I decided to combine the two... for the first time! I'm excited!

I made some MP and scented it with a little ginger. I colored the first half with orange dye and the second with gold. The gold looks more like yellow, but still cool. I layered the two colors and when it set up I cut it into random chunks.

I made my CP, and brought it to a light/medium trace. It was scented with ginger/peach FO. I randomly sprinkled the bottom of my 5lb acrylic mold with 1/3 of of my MP chunks.

Then I gently poured my soap batter over the chunks, just enough to cover them.

I sprinkled more chunks on top, and repeated the process until all of my batter and chunks were used up. I left a few chunks to be sprinkled on top of the loaf.

It looks good right now, and I can't wait to cut it tomorrow!

I'll post pics when I cut it!! Oh and I sprayed the chunks with rubbing alcohol for good measure!

it reminds me of this candy i used to eat when i was little but i cant remember what it was called.

Cute! If you let the soap gel, there is no need to spray it with alcohol. That works better in MP.

I decided not to gel, because I want that creamy look/texture. But next time I'll remember that!! Thanks for the tip!!!

LOL it's fun isn't it. I did that last year and ended up with some crazy soap. Can't wait to see yours cut.

Nougat! It looks just like Nougat candy.
Very nice!

This is one of the methods I was going to try before I went on hiatus. Now that I'm back, it's definitely on the list!!

I can't wait to see cut pics, and Deda is right, it will look like Nougut candy... Man, I loved that candy!! :)

I'm gonna do another one tomorrow! Caramel Corn!! I'm gonna make my mp caramel colored. Just don't know if im gonna shred it, curl it or try to swirl it in. I don't know how to swirl it into CP...is it just like swirling regular CP?

I love it ... reminds me of summer and it goes with the heat that we're having here!

Heat, how I long for heat!! Last night it was -2F lol Another reason I don't gel my soaps in the winter. Well, not all of them anyway.

i have been checking back all day to see if you had posted pics yet, i can't wait! :)

Wait no more!!!

They all look great! Here are my favorite ones!!

They look just as great as they smell! Juicy peaches and fresh ginger, OMG!!! I am very pleased with my first MP/CP combo!!! I hope they don't sweat too much while they are out curing. I may put a fan on them (oscillating) while they chill under the sheet.

those are gorgeous!!! i love them, and the still look like those candies! what a good idea! :D
