My first attempt at shealoe

I love experimenting and so last night I made my first attempt at shealoe
(shea butter and aloe vera gel). It was a disaster and Im still cleaning the gel off of the cealing (now I know what that little plastic thing that came with the bowl of my mixer is for). But I did learn no matter how long you mix those two ingredients do not play well together with out some sort of binder. So I will try again when my refills of emulsifier arrive. I should have taken pictures. Thought I would share my disaster

Try an emulsifier like E-wax NF or Polawax. Don't forget your preservative.

Emulsier yes , but I could not even get far enough to put in the antibactiarial/preservative, which in my humble opinion should go in anything we put our fingers in and then put on to our bodies.
