Stuck in my head
I wasn't too sure this was going to turn out, but I think it's going to be okay, as long as the scent doesn't make it discolor.
I used Bud Light Lime as 100% of the liquid portion.
when I added the lye and it dissolved this is what color it was -

And when I added it to the oils, even before the scent was added it traced really quickly so I was only able to do an ITP swirl.
Here it is in the mold -

So, we'll see what it looks like tomorrow night when I cut it.

BTW - the salt and the freezing seemed to work. :) Thanks everyone...

I guess I should have told the scent too.
To go with the Lime in the BLL theme, this is a 2lb soap and I only had 1 oz of Coconut Lime Verbena, so the scent is as follows -
1oz CLV
.55oz straight Coconut
.45oz Tequila Lime
It smells really really nice, but with the extra coconut and TL scents you can hardly smell the verbena at all, but it's sooo nice.
I'm really hoping it won't discolor on me. :)

Looks good! I made a beer soap early this morning (6am or so) and I just unmolded. I used 3" round individual PVC molds and no color or fragrance. They came out a light tan color. Are you doing CP or HP? (I did CP in the freezer).

Can't wait to see cut pics!

Thanks!
This is a CP soap that I'm allowing to gel. I won't be able to cut it until tomorrow after I get home from work.
I don't mind if it goes tan, but I'm kind of worried about the TL scent discoloring. I couldn't find my notes on this scent, but I think I could vaguely remember that it does discolor, so I'll have to see tomorrow when I unmold and cut to see if it's going to change.

Love the whole theme with the beer and lime/coconut and colors. Can't wait to see it cut!

Glad the salt and freezer did the trick. Can't wait to see photos of the cut bars!
