I've decided that soapmaking is going to consume me unless I force myself to sloooow doooown. It's just so darn fun, especially when new and good things come in the mail that I just have to try.
Left to right, clockwise:
1) Purple glitter soap, by special request from my daughter. This one came out a bit weird in colour and texture (fully gelled but the purple is very dull). ITP swirl and sort of scented with honeydew melon.
2) Chamomile infused oils with chamomile tea. Ungelled and is very creamy and nice. I was playing with some EO's and added Ylang Ylang and Patchouli. Haven't decided if I like the scent or not.
3) HP bastille soap with 5% castor oil added for bubbles and green oxide for colour.
4) Turkish coffee soap. This bar smelled like hazelnut at first but now you can smell a hint of the perfume used in the coffee. It also lightened up considerably. Natural colour and no scent added.
5) Moroccan Red. This one is olive oil free (avocado, apricot, coconut, palm, castor, almond and canola!). It looks lovely on the inside but the outside is turning a beige/browish colour and I'm wondering if it will spoil on me soon.
6) Last but not least, chocolate/french vanilla scented OMH for my daughter again, this time dressed up a bit. Smells really yummy.
Have a great week!
