Soap naturally has a high PH, if you add something to lower the PH, it won't be soap anymore, it will break down to a gooey mess. Also soap isn't moisturizing, it doesn't add moisture to the skin in any way. It cleans, that is all, some is just less cleansing so isn't as drying.
