does anyone use silica around your storage area or a dehumidifier during the humid months? we realized we love making soap so much that we're going to have some stored for a long time lol we love the fizzing salts and the bath fizzies too but im afraid the moisture will get to them?

any ideas or stuff you guys n gals do?

silica won't do it. I have a dehumidifier in my curing area. but be aware that they do use a good amount of electricity, and generate quite a bit of heat.

i wonder if they make portable sized ones? we're from kansas and you never know what the weather is going to be like, when i lived in utah we got quite a break from the humidity but here it seems to be all year round, just tapers off in the winter months a bit.

thx carebear!

xx

Yes they have portable dehumidifiers - they come in all sizes. Just be sure to choose one that is appropriate for your space..
