I'm planning my second batch. I liked doing the natural color infusion into the oils on my first batch, and would like to do that again. However, on this batch the oils that are liquid at room temperature are fairly equally divided between avocado (15%), olive (10%), castor (10%) and apricot kernal (5%). I prefer to infusion a larger percentage of the oils than 10%. Can I mix these oils together and then infuse the mixture? Will they seperate? Will they all take on color? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. -Lia

It should work, except I would maybe leave out castor oil as it is pretty thick. I have tried infusing with the other three oils and they work well.

What kind of natural colorants are you using? :)

Agree with Seifenblasen - leave out the Castor...most soft oils are suitable for infusions, and blending them won't cause any issue. Just make sure if you use some of the oils prone to rancidity (like regular non-HO Sunflower) that you soap them as soon as your infusion is ready.
