I want to make Men’s soap with the following concepts:
• Small quantities
• Not moisturizing
• Good for or dries/cleanses oily skin
• Slight exfoliating
• No scent or minimum scent possible
• No specialized tools or equipment needed

Helpful suggestions appreciated.

I agree with soapbuddy that a basic coconut oil soap is probably best for the actual soap that you are describing. It will lather well and clean well.

Whatever soap you do, you will not need to add any scent. So unscented or minimal scent is no problem at all. Just skip that step and leave the essential oil or fragrance oil out all together.

Small quantities should not be a problem either. You can do any size batch that you have the equipment for. While smaller batches are more labor intensive per bar, you will have an easier time managing smaller batches if you have limited space and/or equipment.

For something exfoliating - try loofah, poppy seeds, ground pumice, cornmeal, oatmeal, ground dried herbs. Just depends on how rough you want it.

Hmmm - well CP soap does take some specific, if not specialized, tools/equipment. Nothing you cannnot get easily but you do need to put some thought and some money into it.

Have you read millersoap.com? It'll tell you all about soap. Read it all. Read it 3X.

Perhaps you would be more interested in a melt and pour soap base to which you can add some ground oatmeal or the like - you can scent if you wish but don't need to. And you can use about any container for a mold.
