melt and pour - adding lavender

Hi,

I made some clear melt and pour soap and added some lavender buds. Most of the lavender buds stayed at the top of the moulds, so when I turned the soap out the bottom had most of the lavender with a few sprinkles at the top. How can I make sure the lavender is distributed throughout the entire soap?

I know your question is a couple of months old, but ran across it and wondered if you had tried the soap bases especially made to keep things in suspension? I don't do M and P, but I've seen the bases advertised on suppliers' sites.
