Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I want to make a massage medium, either lotion, cream, or oil. I want something that won't absorb quickly to allow for longer massage. What we use in the physical therapy field a lot of free-up:

Petrolatum and lanolin alchohol, methyl gluceth-20, water, methyl paraben, stearyl alchohol, ethyl paraben, mineral oil, DMDM hydantoin, sodium lauryl sulfate, fragrance

That doesn't seem very natural to me so I'd like an alternative. I know beeswax is good for not absorbing. anyone have favorites they use for long massages?

I use cream when I am doing a full body massage whether it is deep tissue or swedish. If I am massaging an area as part of another service i.e. facial or after a salt glow I use oil.

When I was doing Massage Therapy, and still now when I do a full body Swedish Massage, I, like soap buddy prefer a lotion. When I'm concentrating on one area, I prefer fractionated coconut oil.
