Hello, everyone.
DH and I soaped this weekend. Made a 2 lb. batch of our basic recipe, except we used goat milk for the first time. We froze the GM overnight and just chipped off what we needed. Added the lye to the GM while the pot was in an ice-water bath. Mixed the oils and kept them cool, added FO called "1920's Barbershop", cocoa powder and oatmeal. Froze the mold before pouring, then popped it back into the freezer for 24 hrs. Unmolded at 24 hrs, cut at 48 hrs. I think it stayed a lovely color and it smells so good!

Thank you! I think I like working with GM because you don't have to wait for it to cool, it is already cool.

Wow that is one of the most beautiful bars I have ever seen. It just screams classic to me. What does the scent smell like? I have never heard of it.

That looks beautiful! I was going to ask about how the scent smelled as well, it sounds interesting :)

Thank you so much! I ordered fo's from Rustic Escentuals, and this is one of the free samples I chose. It is one of their new ones, smells just like an old time barbershop.
