HI everyone - working on getting ready for the renaissance fair and I wanted to share this soap with you. One of my very first soap ideas was to make a soap that was in a sea shell. The first time trough it worked just fine, but it ended up smelling "fishy" because I had used kelp as my colouring and scent - ewwwww. So this time I used Endless Sea, did it HP and added extra oil at the end of the cook to make it translucent, coloured with blue oxide, and then polished the top of the soaps with water.

Thanks for letting me share this..

Cheers

Beautiful! They genuinely look 'sea water' coloured too. I can't remember....does the soap pop out of the shells to be used, or lathered up while still inside?

Tanya :)

I'm wondering this as well. Very creative, Lindy!

What a great idea! Those look great. I love the shiny translucent color!

Thank you! Tanya & LJA - the soaps can either be used leaving them in the shell or can be popped out and then use the shell as a soap dish.

I so love these and I'm hoping they do well at the tourist spots....
