Making my own clear m&p

Can anybody point me to a good tutorial? I'm more of a written instructions person than a video person.

I got some 90% ethyl alcohol, so I'd love a recipe that uses that, since it was $18 for 16 ounces!! I want to make some clear MP, then melt it and mix in some color to make red and green tree embeds for CP soap.
