So I have a recipe that calls for beeswax. I have used it with no problems, and was planning on ordering more,
when I came across a website with emulsion wax. Is it better? and would I use the same amount as beeswax?

Hi bombus - haven't made creams as yet so this is just MHO here.....beeswax adds hardness; emulsifying wax does that as well as emulsifying oil & water so they don't separate after mixing. So they are not exactly interchangeable, depending on the reason for using. I have used Ewax to firm up a tradional oily salt scrub with good effect. A side benefit was that this scrub rinses away feeling like a lotion on my skin....not oily.

If it is an oil & water cream I would suggest you use e wax or polawax or similar. You won't need much beeswax or it'll be a very stiff cream.
