Just saw a commercial on TV for a store that carries "Magic Ball" bath bombs. They appear to be about 3-3.5" in diameter, and have a surprise inside. The examples given are a small wooden cross for the Amazing Grace bath bomb and a candle and confetti for the Happy Birthday bath bomb.
