Made my own BATH BOMB and have some problem

I made 2 batch of bath bomb yesterday and both batch hold together well and had no crack at all so I think the recipe is nice
Butt!
The outer layer after like 10 mins became all bumpy and had holes like the moon surface and its super ugly
I have noticed that my citric acid came in like small sugar-like crystal(and I think it should be like a fine powder?) so I grounded it up and make another batch
Same problem happens (but a lot less and smaller bumps and holes)

I did not use water /alcohol/ witch Hazel to bind them together because I live in Thailand and it was humid enough

I intended to give them as gift in a couple of days

it sounds like it might be too humid for you to make them if you used no liquids at all to bind them and they still "warted" on you.

i would try a small batch again but use a hard oil like shea or cocoa butter to bind them and see if that helps.

You might add a little cosemtic grade clay also.

It does sound like the humidity got to them.
All citric acid I've ever bought has looked like sugar, not a fine powder.
