Wish me luck! This will be my 5th batch of soap. I'm happy with the last recipe I used, it was slow to trace and I was happy with the drop swirl it created

My best friend's fiancé is a joiner so he made me a slab mold so I can do some soaps with pretty patterns on top

I'm going to attempt it tomorrow. Here's the mold and my comb tool

I will be back with pics tomorrow. Just made a liner for it out of laminate sheets

Well it was a disaster

Traced too fast to even attempt any kind of swirl so ended up splodging my 3 colours into the mold and making a pattern with the back of a spoon

I used the same recipe as last time which was a dream to work with. The only variable was the FO, I used one called Sea Breeze this time, last time was Neroli Camomile. I'm not sure if I soaped a little warmer this time too but if so its only the diff from around 85 last time to 90 this time.

Not happy
