I do! Here's a pic of one of my early experimental salt bars, circa 2007 in which I was trying to go for a granite-type look. The black specks are from a tbsp. of Dead Sea mud that I tossed into the batter , and the embeds are MP.

If your question is, "Can you add MP embeds to a salt bar and will they survive through gel?" the answer is yes.

IrishLass :)

Those are cool! I've only made one batch of salt bars, but they really needed a bit of color so I thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks!

I've put M&P embeds on top of a salt bar, and it was fine, but never inside like IL did in the above post.
Give it a shot. It should be fine. :)

I'll take two of those please! Seriously cool effect. BTW: I also like your m&p dancing funnel. I know you weren't happy with it, but I thought it was lovely.

By all means, cmzaha, the mold made in silicone from pieces of dollar store sea glass works really well but just use the tiniest bit of mica for the authentic? frosted sea glass effect. I've also covered the pieces in gold mica for a gold nugget look. Thank you both for your very nice comments.
