This is a mini soap cake i made for my bestie's bday. Scented with love spell, which is her favorite. I've messed up the sides (it was far from smooth), thus i gotta cover them with frosting.

Makes 4 slices (130 gr each) or 8 smaller ones.

thanks :)

no it wasn't glitter, it's the melt and pour sweating, lol! it will dry up later on..

I'd so accidently bite it. It looks so yum. Amazing work and you have one very lucky bestie.

my bestie knew i can't cook, let alone bake... and so she was a bit puzzled when i show her the pic :D

i've added a cut pic.. not crazy about the inside. it was a nasty attempt at an ITP swirl, the colors ended up like a murky purple grey. was hoping for more contrast, more white :(

if there's 1 thing i hate the most about soap cake is cutting it! it's always a huge challenge for me to cut with a damn knife!

It's amazing I must be difficult to accomplish something like that I love it! Maybe one day I will try but I highly doubt I could ever make something so nice it's beautiful

Beautiful soap Seven! Your bestie will love it! Speaking of bestie...my teenage daughter unfriended me on FB because I used the word "bestie"- lol! I guess I'm too old and it was uncool

How did you do the icing is it foaming bath butter

everything was cp soap. with icing, i prefer to do a 75/25 ratio (hard oil/soft oil). of course, you can do your normal recipe, but just wait till it's the right consistency to pipe. this last bit, can be a bit of a challenge. i've had batters that were getting too hot to pipe, my poor disposable piping thingy burst :D
