I’m hoping someone can shed some light. I used a recipe that I’ve done over 50x with the same results, but not this time. It is a goat milk soap and I stop gel by immediately putting in the frig on a turbo chill. These were molds, unscented, a ton of liquid on them to the point after dabbing off on top there was liquid in the mold! The soap was very hard (harder than usual). It didn’t feel any different while making or pouring. The humidity in the plant room is 21%, always the highest room. Any thoughts would help!

I went back and checked my records. It wasn’t my tried and true, amended that to replace the mango butter with kokum butter and ran it thru soap calc. My original recipe was not thru soap calc but a simpler lye calculator. I can’t believe it made that much difference, I have multiple recipes that bounce around between combos of shea, mango, and kokum. It feels like they are made of plaster!! I haven’t tried one yet.
