LotionMaking: Aloe Vera Extract vs. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera Extract vs. Aloe Vera Gel in Lotionmaking....

Is there a difference? I was using an Aloe Vera Juice, and am ordering from a different supplier this time. They only offer Aloe Vera Extract (Extracted into a Glycerin solution) and Aloe Vera Gel.

Is there a difference (in the lotion)? Or should I just buy some Aloe Vera Juice from the Health Food Store?

Gels can often be highly concentrated, but I would think that as the extract was in glycerin that it would be less pure.

What ever product you go with, you want it to be as high a concentration of aloe as possible
