Hi, I am trying to formulate an oil free lotion for son's acne prone skin. I usually make him gels based on aloa vera, EO's and some herbal extracts but his skin needs a bit of emollience since it has become too dry after using benzyl peroxide for a while. I made him a lotion last night with a the tiniest amount of jojoba oil, evening primrose, & olive esters with aloa vera and a few herbal extracts, emulsifier and cetyl stearyl alcohol which I read helps with gliding but the lotion has no glide at all, is there any other ingredient that will make this lotion a bit more gliding? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Hi Soapbuddy, thanks for replying, the formula was:

10% liquid oil mix (jojoba & evening primrose)
5% olive emulse
5% cetyl stearyl alcohol
5% emollient (olive esters, water based)
20% aloa vera
54% liquid (water + herbal extracts)
.5% preservative
EO's
