Since I want to sample fragrances in lotion, I want to make a large batch of lotion and then add the fragrance later.
Can I do that? I've never tried to "rebatch" lotion.

You can add fragrance to a lotion portion that has been weighted. People use ziploc bags for this to mix the fragrance in. The snip off the corner and pipe into a new bottle. Never rebatch a lotion as that will negate any preservative! Make sure that the fragrance is skin safe and follow manufacturer's recommendation and % for safety.

I agree with Soapbuddy. You can mix in a fragrance, but don't heat the lotion! Just mix (in a baggie is great cuz you don't need to "sterilize" any containers or utensils.

(by "sterilize" I mean "uber clean". nothing I can do will result in sterile implements - or at least implements that stay sterile)
