when making lotion bars.. can you line the mold with wax paper or parchment paper for an easier release? I wouldn't think it would mess with it but i'm curious before I test my theory heh :D

you've probably tried it by now! What I find to work easily for me is letting my lotion bars set up and then popping them in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes....and they plop right out.

I use a twist- type container - like a small deodorant container - and pour the lotion directly in & let it set up. Don't need to remove it that way & it's super easy to use. If you're just making for yourself (not selling) you can use an old deodorant container, just clean it out really good.

Yes, if you freeze them they pop right out & the mold is left clean.

i use the cheap plastic molds from michaels, after it hardens they come right out! are you using a log mold? i suppose you could line that, i make my lotion bars smaller, not soap size.

well then cute plastic molds, they come right out, so spray or anything, do you have recipe? what are you going to use, i like beeswax, almond, shea.
