So I'm used to making hot process soap:
925 G Lard
250 G Coconut Oil
250 G Olive Oil
75 G Castor Oil
570 G Goats Milk
208.9 G Lye
46.5 G Fragrance
Dump all oils into crock pot to melt. Mix milk and lye to get the reaction going and start cooling off.
After, mix together until reaction finishes, add fragrance, put into soap mold, blah blah blah.
So, that all said, I ran into this article: https://wellnessmama.com/26682/shampoo-bar-recipe/
It looks nearly identical in process and type of ingredients, only seems to differ in ratios and in the main oil being tallow instead of lard.
So I guess my question is, is my soap ready to be used as shampoo? If not, what makes a good shampoo bar?
