I don't really know what dimensions...I just want to buy a 6 or 9 bar slab mold with dividers...preferably a Nizzy. I woudn't mind spending some money on a silicone lined tray, but don't see any for sale anywhere.

I want the finished bar to measure 2.5x3x1.25

Any ideas for me?

I am in the process of testing some designs. I have just assembled the first one and am testing it out tonight.

I asked because while I am cutting the wood for one, it isn't that hard to make a second one at the same time. I just did a loaf, I will be looking at a slab next.

I have several Kelseis and I absolutely LOVE them.

I don't have any of the little ones, but I'm sure they're the same quality of the larger ones I have. Fantastic for salt bars.

Deda, I have become affectionately attached to CPOP and I see that on the Kelsei site, they don't guarantee the molds if used in the oven. I never go above 170 degrees for an hour and then turn the oven off. I guess I will keep looking. I think the one for me will be to make a wood support boxto go around silicone brownie pan, then make some plastic dividers or something. I think most brownie pans are 8x8, so I could probably squeeze 3 bars across and two bars the other way. I can trim them if needed. I'm investigating an easy way to not have to pay $50.00!

I was originally looking for a 6 BAR mold, not a 6 loaf mold. That said, I finally gave up and my gorgeous husband made for me a homemade 8 bar slab mold out of a bamboo drawer organizer and some plexiglass dividers. I have my first batch in the mold now. Fingers crossed!
