Hello from western Montana! I'm the one with the glasses. 
I have been lurking for many months, long enough to feel like I know some of you. Time to introduce myself. Shy? Who, me? (yes, very!)
I've been making bath and body products for a few years, but it's been... Oh my. Almost 30 years since I last made soap? I want to get back into it as a way to use some of the products of our farm; we raise grass-fed steers, goats, chickens (egg soap? I'll do a search), and sometimes pigs. Thanks to this forum I feel educated enough to give it a shot. Cautiously. In small batches. Once I've rendered all the cow fat in my freezer!
