Ok. I am a deffanite newbie to soap making (other than melt and pour) and have been hesitant about getting and keeping lye/potash at the house because of the chitlins running around, but the urge is killing me, I just HAVE to do it!
I am planning on making liquid soaps, ya know, bubble bath, bath gels, shampoo etc. I have orderd everything I need and since it is the holidays and most places are closed, I will get it after the new year sometime. I know that it is a time consuming process, but I was wondering if anyone here made them and had any words of wisdom to impart????
