I just made my first batch of liquid soap. It has a ton of small air bubbles in it, which doesnt bother me but i am thinking for looks. my question is that i put a small amount in a bottle and put a few drops of fragrance oil in it and it froze. i thought it was the fragrance oil so i tried another scent and it froze. i didnt put borax in it to nuetralize it. I followed my recipe to the t and it is really thick also. I had to add about 7 more ounces of water.
Please help with the following questions

1) is it freezing because i havent nuetrelized it or is it because of using fragrance oil.
2) how do i get rid of the air bubbles
3) why is it so thick

I just checked it after about 12 hours and there is a super thick layer on top. it almost looks like my paste hasnt fully dissolved. PLEASE HELP

adding a fragrance oil to fully diluted liquid soap is almost like adding directly to water, because fully diluted liquid soap is comprised of mostly water depending on your dilution ratio. therefore, it must be done at the right time, and more importantly at the right temperature and the right ratio. check out the tutorials to learn the proper times and amounts to add. i've added some where it just develops the thick skin of separated soap on to and some that mix quite well. just have to keep trying slight variations until you get it right! good luck!
