 Liquid glycerin soap batch number 7: CoRaCa tomorrow.
My plans are:

50% Canola / rapeseed eco
45% Coconut oil
5% Castor oil

Glycerine 62.5% KOH concentration 25.25% (2,96:1)
SF 3%

After boiling, before dilution: Honey 1% and Betaine 3% of the soap. (bubbles)

What do you think :?:

Okay, I was hoping you would comment my recipe :D

I have not used Canola / eco rapeseed before, so it's exciting.
Right now I'm in the process of first dilution (50%)
It looks like soap, it feels like soap and it smells like soap

Soap mass was very thick, compared to coconut / olive.

Hopefully I'm done with dilution tomorrow.

Got a wonderful liquid glycerin soap. SF changed to 1%
Dilution demineralized water 65% of soap paste.
A lot of foam, good moisturizing and conditioning. Clear yellow.
I dissolved betaine in dilution water before I diluted the soap,
I added honey (dissolved in a little water) when I left the diluted soap to cool.
I feel the soap is better with canola than with olive oil.
Tried also adding 1.5% FO Fresia to some of the soap - weak but wonderful scent.
Definitely a favorite recipe - must go out and buy more organic canola oil.

Sounds like your recipe turned out great. Why did you add the betaine? Was it as a preservative?

I added betaine because it gives more bubbles, and it makes the foam more creamy and longerlasting.
