I found this recipe this morning, intending to make it today, forgot to bookmark or print it, so I forgot about it.... finally found it again and it's dinner time. SO. After dinner I want to make this, but I need advice - see my questions in (parentheses) please :D

2T apricot kernal oil (can I use sweet almond oil instead?)
1T beeswax
1T cocoa butter
6 chocolate chips
Melt together.
Add: 5 drops vanilla EO
oil from 3 vitamin E capsules (I don't have this. Do I need to replace the amount of oil or can I just leave it out?)

You can leave it out. I would not use 5 drops of undiluted Vanilla absolute for such a small batch. You would also have better luck if you convert the teaspoons into grams.

I think sweet almond is a nice replacement for apricot kernel oil. Both are fairly light and feel lovely. Almond is a little heavier but not much, and is very nice in a lip balm. And feel free to leave out the vitamin E capsules.

I made some lip balms the other night with Sweet Almond Oil and I LOVE them!!!! Great oil for pretty much everything I've used it in.
