Length of time in mold

New here and need to know how long can I leave my soap in the molds. I would like to make a batch before I leave for work at 9:30 AM and return at 5:30 PM, is this to long?

You posted under M&P so I assume you are making melt and pour soap. You can leave you soap in the mold as long as you want. If you have trouble getting your soap out of the mold just pop it in the freezer and they will just slide right out.

Thank you! That will help me, always short of time it seems. I do know about the freezer, but thank anyway.
