I did the dumbest thing last night...I made up some lotion bars and after they set up, I put them in the freezer like I usually do in order to get them out easily. I usually put them in there for only 15 minutes, but last night I forgot and they stayed in there all night long....... Did I ruin them, or do you think they will be okay? I didn't know if it would effect any of the oils or butters.

they will be fine if they don't crack. just handle gently let them come to room temp so that any condensation evaporates and you don't crack them by accident.

the oils and butters will be fine, so if they do break you can re-melt and re-mold.

(I've done that myself more times than I care to admit)

thank you so much...I am so glad to hear the will be okay! I unmolded them onto a sheet of wax paper and left them to "thaw". I don't see any cracks, yet that is! I am glad to know this won't hurt them because I will probably do it again sometime!

Occasionally I experience cracking, but honestly, I KEEP a few in the freezer during the summer because they feel good after a hot shower. It has never caused a problem or compromised the smell or texture :)
