Layering Soap

We are trying to make handmade soap to sell in our soap shop. We're struggling with layering. Any tips please?

You have a beautifully layered M&P soap in your store already. What do you need to know?

By the way, why do you photograph a soap in a nice box and then write that "This soap is supplied unboxed" ? :wink:

Wow, those r some pretty mp bars, reminds me of the ones I see in the disneyworld shops.. were u buying premade loaves and now looking to make them yourself? If so, just spend a week or so reading as much of the archives you can on that subject... That's the best way too find out whatever u want to know....

Have you looked on soapqueen.com site for tutorials? There's a lot of great info on it about MP soapmaking.

Jenny - I agree, those bath bombs are gorgeous.

A Q for the expert soapers here. Are those M&P soaps mixed with CP soap to get the clear/opaque layers and contrasts? I am inspired to try something like that for gifts for my friends. I really like the look.

There's a tute on Soapqueen for mixing CP with M&P. I haven't tried it yet. But it's earmarked to tried later on this year.
