laundry soap

i made this laundry soap with liquid soap (not grated up CP and water) and i am so happy with how it turned out. it has taken forever to get my recipe just right but i am so pleased with it.

Is it a thick liquid? It almost looks like powder in the picture. Did you make up your own recipe or did you start with a shared recipe and tweak? I know there is a recipe on this site for laundry soap that's really nice- now you've got me wondering how to improve on it, if possible.

it is powdered. if you set it next to something like Tide laundry powder, it looks almost the same. i started with liquid soap that i made and went from there. i didnt have any kind of recipe, i just tried different things until i was happy with it.

Wow, I'm impressed! Did you add a scent or leave it unscented? Understood if you consider it a trade secret, but if you don't consider it proprietary, will you divulge your methods?
