This year was challenging beyond belief. At times I really didn’t know how I could go on. I found great comfort in the getting lost down the creative rabbit hole of soap making. Learning and practicing making soap really help me get through some dark times. I’m very grateful for this art medium! It’s poignant and practical use really added to the perfect timing of the situation. I’m also super grateful to have found this super sweet intimate and supportive group. Thank you all for being welcoming and generous with your experience.

I thought for sure this batter had gotten too thick. For SURE this time! It’s such a mystery what’s happening in that pvc pipe!!!

You planned the dragonfly, right? The colors also remind me of a shimmering dragonfly.
And DITTO DITTO DITTO to everything you said about this incredibly challenging, sucky, year and soaping is coping and this forum is amazing. Here's hoping for a super boring 2021 -- I've had enough historic events to last the rest of my life.

Thanks y’all. The dragonfly is in the plate. I may ask the maker to do another plate with less of the other design and more dragonfly. I’ve been getting my butt chapped over lots of people commenting dumb stuff about it in a thread on FB where I posted them. ”it’s an mri’ “it’s an upside down monster/skull/face”.... But I’m kinda over it. They’re probably just looking on their phones anyway.
