Hello all! I’m new, this is my first post.
I don’t make hard soap yet, but I do make Milk Baths, Bubbling Sugar Scrub, Bath Salts, Shower melts and Bath Melts. I’m not big into bath bombs. Just a little intro!
So my question is this: When I make my Bath Salts, how do I ensure they will not turn into a big rock in the jar? That happened to me in the very beginning but I had put citric acid in those. Now my recipe is just Epsom, baking soda, Coconut oil, Poly 80 and EO or fragrance oil. (Maybe some arrowroot powder at times) Will the baking soda prevent the Epsom from forming a rock? It’s a new recipe so I’m not sure yet. Thank you all for any advice you can give this newbie!
