I'm making a list of ingredients for the next items I want to learn to make in the coming weeks. I've got on my list to learn liquid soap, lotion, sugar scrubs and maybe salt scrubs and I'm at the point of looking at which preservatives to buy.
I know phenonip is great for the non-water products like scrubs and will work for the lotion and soap. But what I'm wondering is would it be better for the last two to have a preservative better suited to water based products like Germall Plus of Germaben II? With a little looking around to read about them all I did find this regarding the Germall products. http://www.skincaretalk.com/diy-skin-care/14673-avoid-germall-plus-germall-ii-germal-115-a.html
Advice? Concerns? Recommendations? Thanks!
