Oooh, I just asked the honey producer at my local farmer's market about getting some beeswax. They said they don't bring it to the market because of the heat and it doesn't move as much as the honey. I want it to make balms and salves and started looking at doing wax tarts and possibly cutting it with another wax as I've so far heard differing opinions about the performance of beeswax as a tart.

Thanks for posting it. I wouldn't have thought of looking for a balm recipe on Swift's blog. I usually look at the lotion info.
