Hi, I'm Jodie. I've been breeding dairy goats for nearly 10 years and making goat milk soap for 8. I've mostly sold to family and friends, and they all buy it as quickly as I can make it.
I'm looking to expand into lotions and herbal products and try to grow my business into something a bit more self-sustaining. I've also started playing around with candle making, mainly for personal use because I love scented candles, but I've also made a few as gifts.
I'm reading everything I can get my hands on about herbs and essential oils, I'm doing a herbal medicine workshop next month and I'm currently working through an online aromatherapy course. I'm studying horticulture next year, looking to learn about herbs from the ground up and then find ways to use them in body care products.
I've had a bit of a look around and there is a lot of knowledge on this board. Hopefully I can provide some useful information to some of you as well.
