Happy Twelfth Night, everyone. Carnival season kicks off today and this is how I celebrated.

I don't really have a name for it. I just wanted to make Mardi Gras soaps that will look pretty all through Carnival season. The mica on top is gold even though it looks a bit pinkish in the pic. We do love our sparkle and glitter here.
That, by the way, is an unsuccessful mantra swirl. I didn't trust the soap to be thick enough when I pulled the dividers out and of course it was too thick and did not swirl. At least the top looks nice. Here's a better view.

Love the colours and the top is very sparkly and pretty. Definitely looks like mardi Gra material to me.

I love your pictures and the colors are wonderful. Mantra, Schmantra.... I was admiring how you were able to get such even "Neapolitan" spacing. Definitely fits the Mardi Gras theme.

I think that is better than a swirl. Those are strong colors, and swirling them would just overwhelm the eyes. Besides, before I read the post, I thought you meant to make it look like a King Cake pattern.

Thanks, everyone! I'm pretty pleased overall. Not super crazy about the NG scent I used in the blend, but all their scents smell "soapy" to me.
