Is there a difference? I want to make some powdered milk bath. I have used instant milk from the grocers in the past but it can get clumpy if it sets around too long & then it won't disolve proper in the tub. This makes me wonder if the powdered milks sold at soap supply companies are different. Anyone know?

You can use the powdered milk at the store as well as powdered goats milk, powdered buttermilk and powdered coconut milk. But when using these powered milks, be aware of the shelf life and store in a cool, dry place.

After doing some more research. I believe the opinion is that fat free powdered milk is best in preventing the mix from going rancid. It is also supposed to prevent clumping. I don't eactly know how or why but it seems to be most peoles tried & true preferance.
