I was inspired by Mel's tiger stripe soap so I decided to give it a try. I usually stick to plain soaps with herbs or flowers added so this was a fun experiment. I'd like to try it again with a thinner trace, the soap started to harden towards the end.

Here is my lavender & patchouli tiger stripe (I used alkanet for the color):

wow how pretty! I love the purple and the stripe is great. I am happy I inspired you, but I hope you know I didn't start it, lol. I did it for a challenge for the great cakes soapworks challenge. There were so many good ones done, yours included! It's great!

It turned out great! I have had the same issue with the soap batter thickening up towards the end. In the beginning it seems too runny, half way through... perfect, then at the end it gets THICK!!
