This is the other log I poured when I did my "Lavender Fields" (flop).

I poured at really thin, if any, trace. Pretty much happy with how it's turned out, apart from the dreaded ash monster

I think I should have used a different colour than the Raspberry Mica, to make the effect pop.

Next time I will do a more 'vivid' colour scheme.

The soap is still really soft, I think it's day 3 now (too lazy to check my soap diary!) So I'll bevel and trim in a day or so...

That is very pretty. I like light color, it's peaceful to me

I see blue flower petals. Very, very pretty - I love the colors. Well done!

YAY, you go girl, you're a champ! it's perfect! i'm with Ken, the colours are really peaceful. but it would look fab in super bright colours too

and yep, i hear ya on the ash issue, grrrrrrrrr

:D :D :D

Oh my... that's so pretty! It really does give a peaceful feeling, and I see the blue flower as well. <3 it!

Nice! Mantra swirls are tricky, you have to get the pour at just the right moment. This is a pretty delicate soap.

Dotty- I really like the color combo. I don't think vivid would be better (unless it ends up fading). I think that's one awesome soap.

Thanks for the kind compliments everyone.

I think, for me, I'd change the FO next time I combined these colours. It's kinda delicate, feminine? So 'Grapefruit' IMO is loud, or that's just how I perceive the scent.

I admit I love doing this swirl. Although, I find it 'fiddley' (this was my 9th batch) I really enjoy cutting it open, it's like a surprise!
