I'm bored!

All of my soap gift baskets have been made, so have the gift bags for my dogther Mattie, my fur niece Chloe, my fur brother Popcorn & my grand puppy Nina. All but 3 gifts have been wrapped (I ran out of gift wrap), the kids are with my aunt & my bf is stuck working 80 miles away in Imlay city for the next week! I wanna make soap but I'm low on supplies & creativity. Does anybody have any boredom busting suggestions?

I know exactly where you are coming from. I did my last show for 2012 and the season doesn't start again until March 2013. My Christmas shopping is done, we are having Christmas dinner at someone elses house so there is no cooking, I'm waiting on supplies to arrive so I can start experimenting for next season. All season when I was so busy I couldn't wait until this time of year so I could enjoy the nothingness of it and now I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm not in the position to sell my soaps yet, but after viewing some soap porn last night I made a visit to soap calc to make a recipe using what supplies I have left to make a recipe. Today I think I'll make what I'll call a limited edition lime margarita soap today. I'm hoping that my Christmas soap baskets will inspire family & friends to want to place orders with me!

I have been window shopping on supplier's websites as well. Not buying, just looking making long, long lists and sighing. What did Hazel say??? That is 2-3 years we will have all the soaping supplies we will ever need????

Some suppliers seem to have just about everything but then ther'll be that one or two things you still want or a fragrance somebody has that is like no other. Keeps me pondering recipes and making wish lists, too!
